They provide excellent arch support for a flat-footed person like me and provide plenty of room for my wide feet. I can wear the sandals without orthopedic inserts -- a very rare thing for me.Because of the sizing and quality consistency I am comfortable ordering Birkenstock sandals without trying them on -- another rare thing.

The fact that any Birkenstock in my size fits the same is such a game changer in shoe buying. I have plantar fascitis and any other shoe necessitates orthotics.I usually buy the Arizona 2 strap kind but I was happy to try something different, in this beautiful pink. Comfy as always. I Spent 2 days in Disneyland wearing them doing 18,000 steps a day. I love them.

If you like shovels for sandals buy these! They catch everything under your foot (like sand and little pebbles at the beach) and because of the snug fit you can't get the stuff out! However the support is very good and I like the fit. Durability - OK. The cork base wears fairly quickly compared to some sandals. They do prevent stink buildup as well, unlike cheap sandals.

One of my two favorite Birkenstock styles, in the most beautiful red leather. I will be wearing them a LOT. As in my other Birkenstocks, I go down a size, and they fit and feel great.

I have plantar fasciitis and am on my feet a lot with my work. I have to wear dress shoes at work. These are very comfortable and durable. My feet are not killing my at the end of the day wearing these.
