These sandals are the perfect blend of style and comfort. The Birkenstock design is unique and complements any summer outfit. Highly recommend for long walks on the beach!
I was hesitant to invest in Birkenstocks, but the Arizona Narrow style won me over. They offer fantastic support for my feet, which is something I value greatly. Plus, they pair beautifully with everything from shorts to sundresses, making them perfect for casual outings and beach days!
I have worn one pair of Birkenstock sandals for over 10 years and finally replaced them. The old pair I am considering having refurbished since the straps are still in great shape.I just bought these for my son and they are made as well as the two pairs that I have owned. I was apprehensive in purchasing the Birkibuc sandals, but they seem to be made very well. The only problem that I have with these sandals is in trying to find the correct size. It is a lot of trial and error. The European sizing chart is way off from my own experience and now with trying to find the correct size for my son. He wears a size 11 shoe and the 43 is way to big, so I got the 42 and it is too big. I just ordered a 41 and am hoping that it will fit him or I will have to return another pair!
I've had Birkies for years, but these sandals just aren't the typical Berkie comfort that I am used to. They seem very stiff and hard to break in, just not very comfortable. Maybe I just need to give them a bit more time to break them in....
I love the look of the shoes! The patent leather makes them look dressy. I usually wear a 9.5 or 10 and got a 10 in these and it was the right size choice. They were a bit snug in the toe area but I think that will "give" the more I wear them. I primarily bought these for concert performances where I am on my feet for hours at a time. I just came off several performances and am glad I bought these shoes. I inserted my used Brooks athletic insoles on top of the insoles already in the shoes (may have contributed to the snug toes, BTW?) because I wanted and needed more cushion. I have high arches; I'd say these have minimal arch support. But with the extra insoles, these work for me, and I think it's a very handsome shoe, dressy but can also pass for casual.
I've worn Birkenstocks for over 35 years--sandals, shoes and clogs--back when most people had never heard of them. I started wearing them for the comfort since nothing else has ever fit me so well. Some styles don't fit my feet as well as others--the Zurich model sandals have a strap buckle that hits the top of my toes and raises a sore spot. Some styles I've learned to love dearly--like the Arizona and Milano. The Boston is one of the styles that I've really loved since the beginning. Homely, clunky and lacking in stylishness, it's incredibly comfortable and practical. Like all traditional Birkenstock styles, it's made with a leather covered cork footbed that does require some breaking in for maximum comfort. After a few days of wear, the hard footbed begins to soften a bit and it will take on the shape of your foot while providing excellent support. One thing I have noticed about Birkenstock's clogs and shoes, it's usually best to order a size up from what you wear in Birkenstock sandals. My reasoning is that you will then be better able to wear socks with the clogs and utilize them as regular shoes. With sandals, you can always loosen the straps to accommodate socks but the enclosed foot nature of clogs limits this practice. Also, for some reason my feet perspire more with clogs so I prefer to wear socks except for just puttering around the house.Bostons, like all Birkenstocks, wear well. The cork should occasionally be resealed with Cork Life or Kelly's Cork Renew. If the cork becomes damaged but remains in otherwise decent shape, Cork Life or Cork Renew can be used to fill in the damaged area. If the outsoles begin to come unglued, Barge Cement will repair it perfectly. Same for the suede footbed liner. If you don't feel comfortable doing the work yourself, do an online search for places that specialize in Birkenstock repair and resoles. This might be the best option for clogs since the enclosed nature of the shoe means some parts are not readily accessible without disassembling the whole thing. Mainly, just know Birkenstocks can be repaired and can last a very long time with care and maintenance. I have a couple of pair from the early 80s that still wear well.I'm sold on Birkenstocks. I've recommended them to a lot of people and those who try them have never said they were disappointed. The prices have increased substantially over the years but the quality remains excellent.

item as describedvery spacious main compartment: can fit 3-4 textbooks easily (paperback tall textbooks) with more space to spare for a cardigan, a water bottle, etc. I have fit a small lunch box inside beforeLaptop compartment accommodates 13-inch laptop and seems to easily be able to accommodate bigger sized laptops.Side pockets are not tight and are roomy; I usually have an umbrella on one side and keys and phone on the other side for easy accessThe second compartment is also roomy; I have an e-reader, a headphone in a hard case, a hard drive, and a wallet with more space to spare. Finally, the front pocket is decent; may not want to put something bulky since the shape will show through the backpack.the monkey's arms looked a little lopsided; otherwise, the backpack looks and feels great.
Maybe I’m biased cause I’m a fan of Kipling. I love this I wear them at work which carries what I need. My phone my cards my money my chargers my earphones and my lotion and lipgloss. Quality is outstanding

I just love these Gizeh Sandals by Birkenstock. Very comfortable and the black patient goes with everything!
I have many colors of this style of Birkenstock and have travelled all over the world in these sandals. They provide support and all day comfort. Gizehs can be worn for miles of walking. A ++
These are literally the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever worn. I thought maybe I had to break them in a bit so I suffered for a few days and wore them constantly. By the end of day 2 my poor feet were in so much pain and I had a giant blister on my toe. Wish I’d kept the packaging so I could return them.
I was slightly unsure about purchasing these as the $72 price for a pair of genuine Birkenstock Gizeh sandals seemed pretty cheap. I was worried that they might not be authentic. However, after receiving I’m sure these are genuine Birks. I have another pair of Gizeh sandals that were purchased at a Birkenstock store in Germany and these are identical in every respect. I’m very happy to have another pair of Birks at such a good price.
Size is true to guide, fut perfect. Comfortable and quality, I have 2 other pairs of Birkenstock sandals and these are great. Color advertised with picture was not what I received, contacted company through Amazon. They responded quickly, but stated the verbal description was accurate even though picture was not. I still like the pattern and since they wouldn’t return I kept them.
