I have worn Birkenstock products for decades. The quality and fit have remained consistent and consistently superior to other sandals over the years. They provide excellent arch support for a flat-footed person like me and provide plenty of room for my wide feet. I can wear the sandals without orthopedic inserts -- a very rare thing for me.Because of the sizing and quality consistency I am comfortable ordering Birkenstock sandals without trying them on -- another rare thing.

Giving high stars still as I believe they're a good & useful product based on having a different style of Birkenstock Evas.Probably best to order down a size. (FYI, might also want to watch for if you're ordering a Narrow vs Regular/wide).Thought I would get 38 when ordering 8-8.5 (but got an unwanted 39; even seems a bit big for the stated 8-8.5). It would REALLY help if the EURO sizes were choices when ordering (NOT some supposed US equivalent). So, I'm ordering a "7-7.5" from this product posting to HOPEFULLY get a product labeled with euro size 38...
