I saw a good deal from one of the online shops I buy a lot from and purchased a white pair originally. I fell in love with them as soon as I got them. I had to get a black pair as well. While it does take a couple of days to wear them in properly - they are a great shoe. They are supportive, stable, cute to look at, secure on the foot with the adjustable straps. They fit true to size - I am usually an 8 -81/2 US. The size 39 fits me perfectly (just). Lovely shoe and I am thrilled to now own 3 pairs of Birkenstocks.

To my surprise, it was delivered an hour ago! It’s perfectly sized for my phone (iPhone SE2020), a thin wallet, keys, a little pill container, and a thin Nivea lotion tin.
