I have a couple pairs of the original version of these (with no ankle strap) and I wear them all the time . . . love them. However, I wanted a pair more securely affixed to my feet for walking all day on cobblestones and up and down lots of steps. These are not those. The ankle strap is there just to give a hint of the gladiator look, not to hold your foot in. Yes, the shoes would stay on if you tried to kick them off, but the straps don’t really hold the shoe to your foot. They are just as floppy/flappy when I walk at the originals, and not as flattering.

I like the tote bag it’s big. And you can store a lot in the bag. The only problem is the smell inside the bag it’s very strong !!
Love this purse. I’ve only used it for a week but it seems well made and will last. I really wanted the Marc Jacobs tote but did not want to pay the price. This is definitely a great alternative. I’ve had several people ask where I got it!! You can’t tell it’s not the real thing until you are up close. I am happy with my purchase so far. The only drawback is the ridiculously long zipper. Not sure why they made it so long. I highly recommend this tote.
Update 2!: they sent me a replacement and I haven’t had any issues so far so I upped my rating some.Update: after using it only a few times, the shoulder strap snapped off and I can’t just replace it because the buckle area at the side is where it broke off. I can’t seem to message the seller, either.I absolutely love this Tote bag. The quality is amazing and it’s super cute! I got an insert and it fits perfectly to help organize it!
