I’ve been a Birkenstock lover over 23 years n nothing beats them. I tried the knock offs several times over the years but always go back to Birkenstock. I need about a half inch lift on my left shoe from a short leg n the support they give the arches is the best. Birki is the best.

If you like shovels for sandals buy these! They catch everything under your foot (like sand and little pebbles at the beach) and because of the snug fit you can't get the stuff out! However the support is very good and I like the fit. Durability - OK. The cork base wears fairly quickly compared to some sandals. They do prevent stink buildup as well, unlike cheap sandals.

For a dupe, it’s a great bag. Good quality, beautiful in general. It’s heavy duty and fits my laptop and my iPad, which is exactly what I wanted. Only thing I didn’t like was the shoulder strap. But no big deal, just changed it with a thicker one. Definitely worth the money!

These particular Birkenstocks were for my granddaughter, Elizabeth, because she loves wearing them. She didn't want to bother me with buying them because of the expense, but the pair of knockoffs she bought hurt her feet. She was so happy when she received the Birks I bought her. I was able to sort my things perfectly with their compartment/ pocket system. I can access my keys and cell phone easily. The strap is comfortable, wide and made of nonslip material. The zippers all have an easy-grip round pull tab.
