I have worn Birkenstock products for decades. The quality and fit have remained consistent and consistently superior to other sandals over the years. They provide excellent arch support for a flat-footed person like me and provide plenty of room for my wide feet. I can wear the sandals without orthopedic inserts -- a very rare thing for me.Because of the sizing and quality consistency I am comfortable ordering Birkenstock sandals without trying them on -- another rare thing.

I have a narrow thin foot and find it difficult to wear the medium width Birkenstock’s. I ordered these in my usual size but selected the narrow width and they fit beautifully! I’m extremely happy with this purchase and I’m in love with this look. It’s more chic than the usual Birkenstock’s but still provide the much needed support.

(FYI, might also want to watch for if you're ordering a Narrow vs Regular/wide).Thought I would get 38 when ordering 8-8.5 (but got an unwanted 39; even seems a bit big for the stated 8-8.5). It would REALLY help if the EURO sizes were choices when ordering (NOT some supposed US equivalent). So, I'm ordering a "7-7.5" from this product posting to HOPEFULLY get a product labeled with euro size 38...
