First, if this is your first pair of Birkenstock you might have a surprise about the size. I know my size with them is 1 to 1 1/2 size smaller than for most other brands. That is something to always keep in mind when buying Birkenstocks. Although their sizes are on the box once the shoes are received in case an exchange is needed.I didn't really need to get used to the shoes as they were replacing another pair. I like the ankle strap compared to the ones I had before. While these aren't the sexiest shoes on the market, they mix comfort, support and femininity. That was all I needed from them and I take every opportunity to wear them.

I just returned home to New York from Italy. Their streets are so uneven. These were the most comfortable shoes. We went for two weeks and walked over 70 miles. We went to 13 different places.

They are a perfect fit, and my feet are SO happy right now! I'm happy that I was able to find a pair that I loved in the right size for such a great price. They look exactly like the picture, so they're great with jeans (which I wear almost all the time.) They'll look nice with skirts, too.One thing to watch out for, though. When I selected these, the page said they had free shipping. They do NOT! There was some type of error, so just be aware.

The bag is super lightweight and sturdy and it seems like it repels water. My wife uses it every day.
