I love these Birkenstocks now, but there was a period of adjustment due to the larger toe thong. I did get some blisters initially which almost made wearing the Birks unbearable, but now they fit like a glove. I never want to take them off! Some background information - my shoe size is an 8 1/2. I purchased size 39 which corresponds to the U.S. 8 - 8 1/2. When putting on the Birks for the first time, it is important to make sure to undo the straps, place your heel in the heel bed, and then tighten the straps accordingly. I found that if I tightened the straps it didn't allow my foot to slide around as much. At first I had them looser and I think that is what really ended up causing the blisters in between my toes.

I love this product. Being flat-footed, these are the most comfortable sandals I've ever bought. As a matter of fact this is my second purchase. I also bought a pair for son. The toughest part of buying these is trying to get the right size. I'm a US 10.5/11 and I bought size 44. They're just a touch larger than I'd like but still very comfortable. The leather straps hold up really well to abuse as I've played light tennis in these :)For first timers who buy this product, know that these have a significant arch built into them and may be a bit uncomfortable for some. But if you give it bit of time.. a week of 2, your foot will adjust and be better for it.

I just received a new tablet, so I needed a bag, in order to have the tablet ready, for when I need to take a photograph, for example. This bag suits my needs just great! It's compact enough, being that it's sized as a tote bag, but the shoulder strap option works best for me, and it's included with the bag, as well, for that matter. This little bag is a great quality, heavy canvas. I was quite surprised with it when it arrived. I did not have the stitching issues that another person had - mine is well made and everything seems secure. This bag has lots of places to store things and is a great size for a tablet or an ipad. I can carry everything that I need with me, including a bottled water, and not feel over or under loaded.

I’ve been wearing Birkenstock’s for years. They work really well for me especially because I had very bad foot and back problems from standing on my feet for hours for work. I stopped wearing them for a few years and started trying other brands but there is no comparison. These have the best support and are super cute!

This seller provided excellent, fast international service, with the parcel arriving fully two weeks before expected.Birkenstock are always good, though this is a new style for me and so the fit was unknown. I am actually between sizes in Birkenstock, taking at 39 in sandals and 38 in clogs, so I am always hesitant about the correct size when unable to try first, and because of my location it is not feasible to return. This 39 fitted exactly as previous Birkenstock. The double adjustable straps are very useful, especially as the fixed toe strap is quite large. They are very comfortable out of the box, though the silver colour is a little harsher than I would like. My previous Gizeh sandals all split under the ball of the foot so I am curious to see if these have the same tendency. Regardless of the splitting, Birkenstock (but not Birkis or Papillo) are worth every cent. They are the only shoes that I can wear all day long.
