I adjust in a few days, but most need two weeks. They will be the most comfortable sandals you will ever have.If you. Have an average to wide foot “regular” is fine. If you do have a narrower foot there is a “narrow”.

One of my two favorite Birkenstock styles, in the most beautiful red leather. I will be wearing them a LOT. As in my other Birkenstocks, I go down a size, and they fit and feel great.
I wear black and white a lot, so these sandals are perfect for me. They are comfortable, as are all my Birkenstock sandals. I have 5 pairs. The straps are adjustable so you can get a perfect fit. I highly recommend them.
