I can't believe I waited so long to buy these Birkenstock Men's Arizona Sandals! They are comfortable, stylish, and pair perfectly with anything from swimsuits to shorts and casual trousers. I have a couple pairs of the original version of these (with no ankle strap) and I wear them all the time . . . love them. However, I wanted a pair more securely affixed to my feet for walking all day on cobblestones and up and down lots of steps. These are not those. The ankle strap is there just to give a hint of the gladiator look, not to hold your foot in. Yes, the shoes would stay on if you tried to kick them off, but the straps don’t really hold the shoe to your foot. They are just as floppy/flappy when I walk at the originals, and not as flattering.

One of my two favorite Birkenstock styles, in the most beautiful red leather. I will be wearing them a LOT. As in my other Birkenstocks, I go down a size, and they fit and feel great.

I wear black and white a lot, so these sandals are perfect for me. They are comfortable, as are all my Birkenstock sandals. I have 5 pairs. The straps are adjustable so you can get a perfect fit. I highly recommend them.

I expected narrow but they are too narrow for me

It's so easy to carry around, just what I needed for my phone and wallet, and it's very comfortable. There's nothing better if you want to keep just your essentials with you when going anywhere.
